Just how we have daily and weekly rhythms, we also have annual rhythms here at Living Hope. That means we have the same main events every year, around the same time of year, with the same premise, every year— it’s cyclical. So what is conference? Why are we doing it? What can you expect? At the beginning of every year we embark on the Still Starving journey together as a church for 21 days and it leads us directly into conference which is one of our main events of the year!

Coming out of Still Starving, our hearts, our minds, and even our bodies are ready for wherever and whatever God is wanting to do in us individually, as a family, and also as a church. So do we do Still Starving because of conference or do we have a conference because of Still Starving? The answer is kind of both! Each year at conference there are guest speakers who come and prophesy over the church and also over some individuals and couples. In preparation for the word that will be given, we fast; we prepare ourselves with where God is moving us for the next year.

This year's theme is “Shoot” based out of 2 Kings 13:15. Even if you are not receiving a specific word, it is an event for everyone; there’s worship, there’s prayer, and there’s preaching. It’s a three and a half day event and has shaped and molded many in the church.
